Booking & Cancellation Policy

To ensure smooth operations and accurate reservations, House of Splendor Boutique Hotel and Spa has established the following booking policies:
1. Reservation Confirmation
  • All bookings must be confirmed directly with the hotel before arrival.
  • Availability and pricing must be verified by our reservations team, even if booking was seen online or through third-party platforms.
  • A reservation is considered confirmed only after:
  • Payment or deposit has been received
  • Guest receives an official confirmation message or email from the hotel
2. Reservation Policy
  • Check-in – 2pm
  • Check-out – 12pm
  • 2 adults in a room is allowed
  • No pet is allowed 
  • No children younger than age of 7 year is allowed in the room alone
  • Family policy: 2 adult in a room. Children who are 7 year and above are allowed in the room under the guidance of an adult or parent.
3. Pricing
  • Rates vary depending on season, demand, and room type.
  • Website-listed or third-party prices are subject to changes until confirmed by our reservations team.
  • The hotel will not be held responsible for unverified prices displayed on external booking websites.
4. Payment & Deposits
  • A deposit (percentage or full payment) may be required to secure a booking.
  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, POS, or online payment platforms (Paystack).
5. Check-In & Check-Out
  • Check-in time: [2:00 Pm]
  • Check-out time: [12: 00 Pm]
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may attract extra charges.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Reserved Nights:
  • 1 Night; cancellation before arrival [14 days] 50% of the room rate. Failure to cancel prior to the set timeline, no refund.
  • 2+ Nights; cancellation before arrival [28 days] Room rate for the first night. Failure to cancel before the set timeline, 50% of the total cost of the intended stay.
  • Late cancellation or no-show may attract charges or result in loss of deposit.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within [5–7 working days].

7. No-Show Policy
If the guest fails to check in on the reserved date without notice, the booking may automatically be released and the deposit forfeited.

8. Guest Conduct

  • To maintain a safe and peaceful environment:
  • No smoking in rooms (unless designated areas are provided)
  • No loud music or parties without prior approval
  • Damage to hotel property will attract repair or replacement charges
9. Third-Party Bookings
  • Guests are strongly advised to confirm availability and rates directly with the hotel before making any payments through external agents or platforms.
  • The hotel is not responsible for inaccurate information provided by unauthorized agents or websites.
